Rance Timber and Amathole Forestry Company welcomes new Stakeholder Relations Director to the Rance group

The Rance Group of Companies is proud to announce the appointment of Prince Zolile Burns-Ncamashe to the Board of Directors of the Amathole Forestry Company (Rance Group Forestry) as Stakeholder Relations Director.
 
A royal spokesperson for the AmaRharhabe kingdom and a descendant of the AmaGwali Traditional Council, Prince Burns-Ncamashe is one of the most influential and respected traditional leaders in the Eastern Cape, with a long history of community leadership.
 
He was inaugurated into the House of Traditional Leaders in 1996 and served as deputy chairman from the early 2002 until 2017. With post-graduate degrees in philosophy and psychology, he is also a respected voice in the province’s various transformation debates.
 
As chair of Rance’s stakeholder relations committee, Burns-Ncamashe will oversee a broad range of liaison and stakeholder support initiatives, with a view to building strong and effective partnerships with the company’s various stakeholders.
 
He will also be responsible for promoting transformation in the Group and ensuring compliance in meeting its Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) targets.
 
“Prince Burns-Ncamashe is an esteemed and highly respected community leader who will be a huge asset to the Rance Group,” Group Services Manager Davron Swift said. “We are thrilled to welcome him onto the Board and look forward to the immense contribution he will undoubtedly make.”
